Registered Nurse

The Carpenter Health Network is seeking a Full-Time Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in Baton Rouge, LA. In this role, the nurse will conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, assist in creating and implementing the Hospice Plan of Care, and educate patients and their families about care procedures. The position requires a Registered Nurse license in Louisiana, along with a minimum of two years of full-time RN experience in relevant settings such as oncology, acute care, long-term care, hospice, or home health care. Alternatively, two years of experience as an LPN in hospice care may be accepted. Candidates must also have current CPR certification, a valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance, as well as knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR). The role is suited for compassionate individuals with strong time management skills. The position involves routine supervisory visits and participation in an on-call schedule, adhering to company policies and compliance guidelines.
