Benefits Verification Specialist ( Call Center Agent- REMOTE)-Must have your own computer

MMC Group is looking for a Benefits Verification Specialist to work remotely, focusing on verifying patient insurance benefits and documenting coverage details. Daily tasks include reviewing insurance eligibility, contacting insurance companies, and assisting with prior authorizations and claims appeals as necessary. The role requires strong computer skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, and Excel, along with effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those holding a two-year degree or having at least two years of relevant experience in healthcare, insurance, or customer service. Experience specifically in benefits verification is highly desirable. This position is fully remote, and applicants must provide their own computer. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST, with designated breaks. However, candidates from certain states, including California and New York, are not eligible to apply. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen attention to detail and a background in the healthcare or insurance sectors.
